Research Assistant

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Research Assistant with expertise in mixed-methods research, looking to make a direct impact on clinical care? We have an exciting opportunity to join our world-leading team at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN).

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Research Assistant to contribute to an MND Association-funded project. The goal is to improve personalised care and support shared decision-making for people living with Motor Neuron Disease (MND).

This is your chance to use your research skills to translate scientific findings into better patient outcomes within the UK healthcare service.

You will be joining Dr. Haris Stavroulakis’ research group in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment. Your work will be central to delivering key project objectives, which include:

• Leading the conduct and analysis of systematic reviews.
• Designing and implementing online Qualtrics surveys.
• Collecting and analysing qualitative data (interviews/focus groups) using software like NVivo.
• Successfully recruiting healthcare staff and co-ordinating ethics submissions.

If you have an MSc in Neuroscience or a relevant discipline, along with proven experience in these essential research methodologies, then we would love to hear from you.
