The role
This is initially a development role to better integrate Effective Consulting into the curriculum in Years 4 & 5 with responsibility for ensuring the delivery of the Effective Consulting intended learning objectives and alignment with the GMC’s outcomes for graduates, Bristol Medical Schools Domains and Helical themes, the UK Council for Clinical Communication’s (UKCCC) consensus statement, and UK Clinical Reasoning in Medical Education Group’s (CReME) UK consensus statement.
What will you be doing?
Mapping of where and how intended learning objectives (ILOs) relevant to Effective Consulting are currently delivered in Years 4 and 5, and how these map to the GMC Outcomes for Graduates, and the Medical Licensing assessment.
You should apply if
You are a clinician with a passion for clinical communication. You should be keen to define the best in clinical communication and work out how best to convey that vision to our clinical years medical students across primary and secondary care. You should have direct experience of teaching our students in EC and be familiar and ready to champion COGConnect locally. You should relish the opportunity to innovate in both delivery and assessment. You should be ready to embrace the new approaches afforded by AI.
