Do you have experience of working with confidential health-related research data and setting up quality assurance processes for information and data governance. Do you want to be the Information Governance lead in a medical teaching and research Institute, working with the Leeds Institute Health Sciences(LIHS) senior team, academic colleagues and the wider Faculty and University departments responsible for Information Governance and IT infrastructure?
You will join our team to provide leadership and expert specialist advice in relation to Information Governance and Data Protection for the collection, processing, storage and release of health-related research data by LIHS academic staff and post-graduate research students.
You will develop and manage the Institute’s quality assurance system for information governance and data protection, including: a triage system which supports academics and post-graduate research students in the assessment of the Information and Data Protection/IT storage requirements for research proposals and research projects using a risk based approach; standard operating procedures, including standard text for internal and external data storage and processing approval applications and; an audit programme.
