Buckingham Business School is seeking an inspirational scholar-practitioner to join our expanding Accounting & Finance discipline as a Lecturer in Accounting. This is a rare opportunity to shape the next generation of global accounting professionals within Britain’s first independent university, where small-group, student-centred learning is not a slogan—it is the organising principle of every programme we deliver.
Why Buckingham?
The Role
You will lead the design, delivery and continuous innovation of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Financial Reporting and Auditing, while contributing to Corporate Finance and other accounting electives. Teaching is conducted in seminar-style groups (typically 8–14 students) and is supported by our dedicated academic and non-academic staff.
Beyond teaching, the University of Buckingham enriches its employees’ experience with a holistic support ecosystem that couples ambitious career development—cross-departmental networking, continuous learning and clear advancement pathways—with accessible wellbeing resources and a collaborative culture, all set within a scenic, historic campus that fosters daily inspiration and a consistently pleasant working atmosphere.
