About the Role
This role is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of marketing and communication channels for the School of Mathematical Sciences and the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences. Main responsibilities include looking after the Schools' website, social media, email marketing and printed marketing collateral. You will help to raise the Schools' profiles, provide expert communications advice, support student and staff recruitment activities and contribute to alumni development.
You will contribute to the overall School and Queen Mary market presence, in line with our objectives and vision, strengthening the School and QMUL brand to ensure a consistent, first-rate user experience.
You will be required to work collaboratively with the Directorate of Marketing and Communications and those in other academic departments across QMUL to share insights and develop joint initiatives.
About You
You will have experience in marketing or communications, enjoy cross-function and collaborative working and working with multiple stakeholders
You will have experience of and enjoy working across all channels within the full marketing mix, you will obtain good communication skills across all channels and with all stakeholders
You will have experience of a CRM system and creating emails that have impact
About the Schools
The Schools are part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, which comprises of five schools and two institutes. The Faculty’s student population has grown in recent years, both within the UK and overseas, and its research profile has strengthened considerably. The Faculty is focussed on establishing itself as one of the leading Faculties for Science and Engineering in the UK.
The Schools have large and popular undergraduate and graduate programmes, and they aim to continue to expand their research profiles as well as its study programmes across both UG and PGT.
