Study Support
The Study Support Team at UWL provides English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses, Functional Skills Maths and English, academic guidance, and peer mentoring opportunities to offer holders, current students, and the wider London population. The team plays a key role in supporting international students’ academic transition and success.
The Role
This full-time position supports the delivery and development of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) provision at the University of West London. Reporting to the English for Academic Purposes Programmes Lead, the postholder will play a key role in coordinating programme logistics and student support, contribute to teaching across a range of EAP programmes and assist in curriculum and assessment design. The role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Admissions, International, Compliance, and academic schools.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be a qualified EAP practitioner with experience teaching international students in higher education. They will demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills in, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching. Familiarity with digital learning platforms and a proactive approach to curriculum development and programme coordination are essential. Experience with assessment design, stakeholder liaison, or supporting quality assurance processes will be an advantage.
