Birkbeck, University of London, is pleased to announce an opening for a Lecturer in Law. Birkbeck Law School forms part of Birkbeck’s Business and Law Faculty and is an internationally respected centre for world class legal teaching and research.
We are looking for an exceptional Lecturer (Teaching & Education) to join Birkbeck Law School, with specific duties as an Enhanced Pastoral Tutor (EPT.) EPTs work closely with their teaching groups in contract law and strategically with colleagues to support student experience, engagement, and continuation.

Remuneration
Actual £22,124 rising to £30,429, (Pro rated £44,247 rising to £60,858) per annum. The salary is Grade LLEC on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.

Terms and Conditions
Fixed-term contract to August 2026, part-time (17.5 hours per week on average, with greater intensity during teaching and marking periods.
