About the Role
Queen Mary University of London invites applications for a Senior Lecturer position within the Academic Centre for Healthy Ageing (ACHA). ACHA is a pioneering collaboration between Queen Mary University of London, Barts Health NHS Trust, and Barts Charity, dedicated to advancing research and transforming care for older adults to support healthy ageing.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing translational musculoskeletal ageing research, with a particular focus on sarcopenia, osteoporosis, and frailty. The role involves developing and leading research programmes that integrate applied clinical research with service development, working closely with healthcare professionals, translational scientists, and policymakers to drive innovation in musculoskeletal health and rehabilitation for older adults.

About the Institute
The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 360 staff based in four academic centres and one Public Engagement Centre and supports a combined total of c700 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.
