The role
Bristol Medical School is seeking to appoint a qualified and highly experienced senior project manager to deliver a strategic enterprise data sharing and analytics platform across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The solution will host the health and social care records of the local population, data that will be used for data-informed decision making at scale. The impact of this project will be better health and care outcomes for the population, a reduction in health inequalities and more efficient delivery of health and care services across the region.
University of Bristol are working in partnership with the local NHS with shared appreciation for the unrealised value of routinely collected data. You will be seconded into the local NHS Integrated Care Board where you will provide day-to-day project management of the procurement and delivery phases of the project.
Hybrid working is available - the project operates from a range of locations across the NHS.
There is a minimum expectation to work from a central Bristol office once per week, with additional days as meetings require.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for the project management of the project with technology aspects of the project led by a dedicated head of solution design. You will be required to develop the project management plan and then take ownership of all core project management activities including; risk & issue management, benefits management, stakeholder management, change management, recruitment, supplier management, financial control, scope management and communications.
You will be responsible for the delivery of work programmes to time, quality and cost, reporting progress against the plan to senior stakeholders within the NHS, Local Authorities and University of Bristol.
