Are you an experienced and collaborative web professional with a good understanding of how to optimise content to meet corporate and user needs? Do you have a strong combination of content creation, optimisation and project management skills? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team that’s transforming NIHR’s website into an accessible, engaging and high-ranking platform for NIHR’s diverse audiences.
This role is part of a central communications team that works closely with NIHR national Coordinating Centres, Senior officers of the Department of Health and Social Care’s Science, Research and Evidence Directorate. Your work will be led by the NIHR Head of Digital Communications.
You will work closely with a team of digital content managers and other communications professionals to plan, create and deliver digital content projects to support strategic business priorities. You will bring specialist skills around content, optimisation and design, measurement, evaluation of digital content and UX to our Content Delivery team where you will work with communications professionals across the NIHR. You will also work with colleagues in our Digital, Data and Technology function to support ongoing change across the NIHR web platform.
This is a hands-on role requiring tenacity and emotional intelligence. You will need strong stakeholder management skills and will work, collaboratively with a range of individuals and groups across the NIHR and with some external stakeholders.
This role will be based either in the RDNCC office on Queen Street, Leeds or on Liverpool Street, London. We work in a hybrid way with an expectation that all RDNCC staff spend at least 40% of their time office. We are also open to discussing other flexible working arrangements.
