The University of Liverpool, in partnership with NHS England Northwest and United Hospitals of Liverpool Group, has developed an exciting opportunity for clinical academic training in Oral Medicine. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with the potential to excel in both clinical and academic training.� The prospective NIHR Clinical Lecturer will join our team of specialists in Oral Medicine and their academic work will be aligned with the internationally renowned Liverpool Head and Neck Centre.
Academic Training:
The academic component of the programme will be overseen by Professor Keith Hunter and Dr. Caroline McCarthy. The academic training will include the development of sustainable research that aligns with the university research strategy. The academic component will support the ACL to develop funding application to continue postdoctoral research and further develop research skills in disciplines relevant to their chosen field. The ACL will be expected to publish peer-reviewed data towards the University REF return, and REF impact cases and develop a portfolio of activity leading to independent research profile.
