The University of Aberdeen invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Business Management at its new Mumbai Campus, launching August 2026. This early- to mid-career role combines teaching, research, and academic contribution, supporting the delivery of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Reporting to the Academic Provost, the successful candidate will teach management-focused modules such as Strategic Management, International Business, Marketing, and Leadership, while contributing to curriculum design and enhancement. Responsibilities include supervising student projects, advising and mentoring students, engaging in research and scholarly activities, and supporting quality assurance and programme improvement initiatives. The role also encourages collaboration across disciplines and engagement with industry and academic networks to maintain programme relevance.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Business Management, Management Studies, or a related discipline, with substantial experience demonstrating teaching excellence, curriculum development, and emerging leadership potential. Experience in mentoring students, participating in academic committees, and contributing to pedagogical innovation is essential.
