This is a fixed term post until October 2026.

The LSE School of Public Policy equips students with the skills and ideas to transform people and societies. We are an international community where ideas and practice meet, creating professionals with the ability to analyse, understand and resolve the challenges of contemporary governance.

We are now seeking to appoint a highly committed and motivated Programme Administrator to provide high quality and comprehensive administrative support to staff and students on our postgraduate degree programmes.  The postholder will have responsibilities for one or more programmes according to operational need.  This role will involve you working closely with staff and students in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.

The post-holder will play a pivotal role in the smooth and efficient running of the designated programme/s.  You will collaborate with key academic and professional services staff to proactively develop the programme/s, student experience and learning community.  Responsibilities will include acting as a focal point of contact for student and applicant enquiries, course administration, editing online learning resources, and coordination of assessments and examinations. You will be responsible for detailed planning of programme logistics and events, contributing to the student lifecycle from Welcome (induction) to graduation, and interaction with LSE’s central services to deliver a seamless student experience.

You should possess relevant administration and customer service (student-facing) experience within higher education. You will also have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to work under your own initiative as well as within a team, and excellent IT skills. A commitment to excellence in service delivery to students and colleagues is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised administrator to join a busy and friendly team.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
