Description of Post
The Assistant Lecturer will deliver modules in the area of Physiotherapy and in particular the specialist area of Respiratory Physiotherapy.
Please note: The postholder will be based at the ATU Donegal, Letterkenny Campus.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum
- Applicants must hold a An Honours degree (2.2 or higher) in Physiotherapy Therapy at Level 8 degree as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)] or equivalent.
- Must be registered with CORU or HCPC
- Three years relevant post-qualification experience in the area of Respiratory Physiotherapy
Desirable
- A postgraduate qualification at MSc or PhD level.
- Experience of lecturing in a 3rd level environment.
- Experience in the development of new programmes and curricular development.
- Experience in the supervision of placements.
- Actively engaged in conducting research.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work in teams.
