We are inviting applications through an exciting opportunity to join the Academic Quality and Standards (AQS) team. The Quality Officer will be responsible for undertaking a range of administrative quality assurance processes in a fast-paced environment and responding to the evolving external regulatory environment.
You will work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders both externally and internally from across Professional Services and academic Colleges. In this role, the successful candidate will apply specialist knowledge in supporting and delivering a high-quality service across a range of cross-institutional processes, whilst providing detailed advice and guidance. Engagement and effective communication are key to the role.
The AQS team is a small and welcoming central team which sits within the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Directorate. Working within a range of national Higher Education regulation and frameworks, the AQS team is responsible for supporting the University in all aspects of quality assurance activity.
We are looking for candidates with experience of working in a dynamic environment, with the ability to manage their workload, meet tight deadlines and lead on complex procedures.

You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
