We are seeking a highly-motivated and tenacious individual to drive an innovative Knowledge Transfer Partnership project with Dent Steel Solutions Ltd (DSSL) – a forward-thinking steel stockholder serving major defence, marine and core construction global markets.
The Operational Transformation Project Lead will take a pivotal role in developing, testing and embedding an innovative Data Led Warehouse Efficiency Model, combining advanced analytics with cultural transformation. This framework will include computer modelling techniques adapted to heavy steel operations.
The role
Supported by a comprehensive project plan and academic experts at Leeds Beckett University, you will work with the team at DSSL to undertake the following:
Warehouse Optimisation/Data Analysis, including:
Cultural Transformation
Managing Critical Operations
The Company
DSSL is a leading UK independent large steel-plate stockholder serving major global markets. As a specialist supplier of very large, heavy steel plates of exacting quality, DSSL occupy a 5-acre site in Bradford, from where the successful KTP candidate will work.
The Person
This is a unique role spanning both operational optimisation and cultural transformation, as such applicants need to demonstrate knowledge, skills and experience in both areas.
Bringing a blend of operational analysis and rigour, whilst being creative and flexible is required, along with the confidence to present your ideas to people at all levels of the business.
The role will also require excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and drive objectives through strong interpersonal skills and effective stakeholder engagement.
