The Role

We are recruiting to the role of Programme Administrator to join our adjective – collegiate and convivial central team. This is the ideal time to join the team as we move towards supporting and enabling the implementation of the University’s strategic plan.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering excellent customer service, including providing advice and guidance to students, academic staff and other stakeholders on a portfolio of academic programmes
  • Working collaboratively with University central services such as Registry, Timetabling, Immigration and the Academic Office to support the administrative processes related to new and existing programmes
  • Coordinating programme assessment procedures including the recording of marks and establishment of grades, servicing exam boards and assisting with award and progression

The successful candidate will have skills and experience in:

  • Working in University administration or a service-sector equivalent
  • IT record systems and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Managing data accurately and securely
  • Dealing with conflicting demands and prioritising elements of their workload efficiently
