Are you passionate about delivering exceptional recruitment support and providing a seamless candidate experience? Do you thrive in a busy, people‑focused environment where your work helps shape the future of an organisation? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
Aston University is embarking on an exciting journey through our Aston 2030 Strategy, where our people are central to our success. As part of this, our Human Resources and Organisational Development (HROD) team is expanding its impact, and we are looking for a committed and proactive HR Recruitment Co‑Ordinator to join our HR Operations function.
About the role
As an HR Recruitment Co‑Ordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering an efficient and effective recruitment service across the University. From authorising roles through to onboarding new employees, you will help ensure a positive experience for candidates, recruiting managers and colleagues.
You will work closely with recruiting managers to understand their needs, provide guidance on recruitment policies, support the creation of job documentation, and manage adverts across various platforms to ensure visibility and value for money.
Using our online Vacancy Management System, you will administer all stages of the recruitment process—coordinating interviews, sending candidate communications, arranging pre‑employment checks, preparing contract documentation and ensuring compliance with employment and immigration regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in HR recruitment, exceptional organisation skills and a passion for delivering excellent service.
Please be advised that the position may close earlier than the stated closing date should a high volume of applications be received.
This role is subject to satisfactory basic DBS check.
