We are looking for a Technical Engineer (Water Quality) to provide expert technical knowledge to support our Maintenance team.
Key duties of the role include effective management of Legionella risks through remedial works, installation, maintenance, and regular monitoring of water systems, while adhering to health and safety regulations, statutory obligations, and quality control procedures.
You will also liaise with the Asset and Compliance Manager and other departments to support ongoing Legionella prevention, manage contractor activities, and ensure the operational needs of the business are met whilst maintaining accurate records for compliance.
You’ll be required to participate in a roster covering 6 Saturdays per year, along with a call-out rota, both of which attract additional payments. In addition, overtime may be required.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis and is based at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK.
You will be provided with your own tools and will be based solely at the UEA Campus site.
