The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. Working as part of the Public Health, Environments and Society (PHES) Professional Services team, the role holder will provide key department operational support centred on maintaining our community. Areas of responsibilities will include communications, events, space, human resources, diversity and inclusion. This is a wide-ranging role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a varied and dynamic environment.
The successful applicant must have a minimum of higher education to A Level, or equivalent, and relevant experience as well as evidence of continuing professional development i.e., training and development courses. Previous experience in an administrative role and proven ability to manage your own workload, organising and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines is also essential. The post is part-time 21 hours per week, 0.6 FTE and permanent. The post is available immediately.
The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 4 in the range £34,741 - £38,986 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
