About the role
We are looking for applicants for a part-time (0.5FTE) permanent post in our well established and busy Academic Administration Office (AAO). The AAO support the Biology undergraduate and graduate courses and play an important role in enhancing the student experience; working closely with the Directors of studies and University bodies to support the University agenda. This people-focused role combines schools outreach, EDI and undergraduate admissions.
This role is a partial job share with another member of the AAO, with shared responsibility for student welfare and UG Admissions. In addition, the postholder will independently be responsible for leading on the planning and delivery of UG Open Days, UNIQ and UNIQ+. The role’s specific remit will include outreach, disability support for students and student equality issues. The postholder will also work with the Comms & Engagement Team, and the academic leads for Outreach and for Admissions.
About you
You should bring experience of working in a student admin role, with experience managing student admin processes. You will have outstanding interpersonal and active listening skills, with a proven ability to understand and communicate complex regulations and processes.
