The School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine & Sciences (SCMMS), is one of six schools that make up the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine (FoLSM) at King College London. The School drives translation of world-leading basic science into advances in clinical practices with activities focusing on the Cardiac Biomedicine, Diabetes and Vascular Biomedicine.
About the role:
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Professional Services team within the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine & Sciences at King’s College London. We are looking for a proactive, organised, and highly motivated administrator who enjoys variety in their work and is keen to contribute to a busy, friendly, and high‑performing environment.
In this multi-functional role, you will be provide administrative support at our Principle Investigators at our Denmark Hill Campus, dealing with HR, Finance and Research activities. Your is unique as you will see the full cycle of employees, grant funding and financial operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced setting, enjoys building strong working relationships, and is confident managing multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail. You will be part of a collaborative professional community and gain hands‑on experience across a range of administrative, HR and finance functions.
You’ll have strong organisational and communication skills, along with experience using MS Office applications such as Excel, SharePoint and Teams. Knowledge of HR databases or university systems would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
