This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK Student Recruitment team, part of the University’s Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions section.
The section brings together the core teams responsible for driving the University’s student recruitment activity and strengthening its profile, reputation and strategic positioning. Working closely with students, staff and external partners, we champion the University’s excellence in education and research, ensuring our messages are communicated clearly, consistently and in ways that resonate with diverse audiences.

Duties of the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping prospective students discover and connect with the University. As part of the UK Recruitment team, they will support a wide range of activities across schools’ engagement, conversion, and major on-campus events such as Open Days and Insight Days. This includes representing the University at higher education exhibitions across the UK, delivering engaging presentations and workshops, and building positive, lasting relationships with schools, colleges and other key recruitment partners.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Admissions and academic departments, the post‑holder will contribute to a seamless and well-informed recruitment experience for prospective students. They will bring professionalism and a commitment to delivering high-quality engagement throughout the applicant journey.
The role involves regular UK travel, as well as some evening and weekend work. For this reason, the post‑holder must hold a full UK‑valid driving licence.

Skills and qualifications required
We are seeking an individual educated to degree level who brings a genuine interest in current developments across the higher education landscape, including student funding and policy changes.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, confident in presenting to a variety of audiences and skilled at building positive, influential relationships. They will be proactive, adaptable and highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines and contribute effectively both independently and within a team. Experience in planning and delivering events for different audience groups, combined with strong administrative and coordination skills, is essential.
