Job description:
The role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrator to join the Multiple Long-Term Condtions Cross-NIHR Collaboration (MLTC CNC), Co-Chaired by Professor Avan Aihie Sayer, Director of the NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre and William Leech Professor of Geriatric Medicine.
Funded by the National Institute for Health and Social Care Research (NIHR), the Cross NIHR Collaboration (CNC) is a new unique initiative designed to make it easier for researchers to look at MLTC and ultimately improve the lives of people living with MLTC.
You will work with, and under the direction of, the Collaborations Programme Manager to support the effective delivery of MLTC CNC programme activity and the activity of its workstreams. You will provide administrative support for a diverse range of activities, such as organising internal and external meetings, booking travel and processing expenses and collating information for the preparation of reports. You will work closely with the central MLTC CNC team and a range of researchers, both in Newcastle and across the other collaborating centres.
You will also be a member of the AGE Research Group, led by Prof Avan Aihie Sayer and Professor Rachel Cooper and will work to support the activity of the wider group as required.
The post is available full-time or part-time fixed-term basis until November 2027, please state your desired working arrangements in your application.
