About the role:

This is a key role is in the departments postgraduate provision and you will need to be able to balance different workflows and tasks throughout the year supported by the Head of Research Student Training. You will join an experienced postgraduate education team in a modern chemistry department located at the recently established White City Campus of Imperial College London.

What you would be doing:

You will be responsible for managing an effective and efficient service to the Masters training programme in the Department of Chemistry. There are currently eight Masters courses that run in the department, with a combined intake of 150 students for the academic year.

What we are looking for:

  • Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience
  • Previous experience in an educational environment.
  • Experience in organising meetings, workshops, conferences, etc
  • Excellent organisational, time-management, written and verbal skills
  • Proven numerical and administrative skills.
  • Ability to set up and maintain complex procedures.
  • Relate with tact and discretion to people at all levels, from students to academics and industrial contacts.
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload, adapting plans as requirements change.

Further Information

This is a full-time, fixed term position. Please note the role is based on-site at White City Campus.

This role is for a fixed-term contract for 12 months, covering a maternity leave.

This opportunity could be suitable as a secondment.
