We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Clinical Academic in Simulation to join our nursing simulation team. In this pivotal role, you will support the design, delivery, and evaluation of simulation-based education that prepare our students to enter the profession with confidence, competence, and compassion.
You will work closely with colleagues across nursing, midwifery, and wider health disciplines, as well as with our valued NHS and third‑sector partners, to develop high‑quality, evidence‑informed simulation learning environments. Your work will help ensure our students are practice‑ready and supported to thrive in rapidly evolving healthcare settings.

A background in academic teaching and/or healthcare education is desirable, though we welcome applicants transitioning from clinical practice who are keen to develop their academic career.

Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the service being delivered and to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that the majority of your working time will be spent on campus
