The School of Education, Health and Science is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join the BSc (Hons) Nursing team. We are looking for an individual with expertise and passion for research, with an ambition to develop student and staff research portfolios across the discipline. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced academic who is keen to develop and progress their career in higher education (senior lecturer) or someone looking to move into an education role (lecturer position) from clinical practice.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a drive and passion to develop research in nursing education and health more broadly, as well as an eagerness to engage students with their learning.

This post offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the school forwards with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond, in collaboration with strategic healthcare partners.

For the Senior Lecturer role, you will be expected to hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education or equivalent.

This post requires an Enhanced DBS check and for applicants to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
