We are looking to recruit two Finance Support Assistants to join the Financial Services team. This post will operate within a newly centralised service function whilst supporting the University’s Schools and departments.
As a Finance Support Assistant, you will work with the wider team and colleagues across the University to undertake routine financial transaction processing work, whilst ensuring financial and administrative records are maintained and remain current.
You will have experience of working in a similar finance role within a busy office environment, along with GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent/higher qualifications). You will demonstrate strong IT and organisational skills, and a commitment to championing a “digital first” approach in all aspects of business operations.
We offer an excellent employment package, including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all. Find out more about our approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including our commitments and accreditations as a Disability Confident Employer, Stonewall Gold Award holder, Top 100 Employer, Athena SWAN Bronze Award holder and Race Equality Charter Bronze Award holder.
Informal enquiries are welcome to R Marsden, Finance Support Manager, r.c.marsden@hud.ac.uk.
