The International Alliance for Cancer Early Detection (ACED) is an international partnership established in 2019 with members including Cancer Research UK, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, The University of Manchester, the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), University College London, Knight Cancer Institute at OHSU and The University of Cambridge.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced scientific project manager to provide support for the operational management of ACED research, training and capacity building initiatives, working as part of a team of operational managers from across the different ACED centres and Cancer Research UK. You will be responsible for liaising between multidisciplinary research teams and professional services colleagues, communicating across the different centres as well as financial management and reporting on ACED activities to the ACED Executive Board, responsible for managing the Alliance, and CRUK.

About you
The successful candidate must have a broad scientific knowledge and be educated to degree level (ideally PhD) or have equivalent professional experience in a scientific discipline relevant to early detection research.
You must be proactive and well-organised with excellent project management skills and demonstrated experience managing multiple or complex scientific projects with several stakeholders.
