Location: College Lane Campus, Hatfield
Main duties and responsibilities
Providing administrative support to the team and acquiring a good working knowledge of the administrative processes required for the department. You will support event organisation including booking rooms, catering and transport when applicable. You will support data collation, cleansing and validation activities, prepare relevant documentation for meetings and take minutes where required, provide a high standard of customer service to internal and external stakeholders across multiple contact methods, assisting other members of the WASS administrative team when required. You will also coordinate the end-to-end administration of the WASS Ambassador Scheme, including recruitment, scheduling shifts, monitoring worked hours, responding to queries and maintaining accurate records.
Skills and experience required
You will have experience of providing administrative support. You will also have good communication and IT skills, including experience of the MS Office packages. You will have a positive can-do attitude to problem solving, be flexible and adaptable to team and workload requirements, and have a willingness to acquire new knowledge and develop new skills. Experience working in a higher education administration and/or a large complex organisation would be desirable.
Qualifications required
You will hold a minimum of A-levels or equivalent, or proven experience.
