About the role
The postholder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Oxford Uehiro Institute. This includes acting as the first point of contact for visitors and enquiries, managing the admin inbox, maintaining mailing lists, arranging travel bookings, and processing purchase orders. You will also support the smooth running of the Institute’s office operations, assist with IT setup for meetings, liaise with suppliers, manage office supplies, and provide support for events and facilities management.
About you
You will be a highly organised and adaptable individual with the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will also have strong IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Experience of administrative work, including handling enquiries, organising travel, and supporting events, is desirable.
