About the role
Based within the Oxford Translational Myeloma Centre (OTMC) at the Botnar Institute for Musculoskeletal Sciences, this post will join an interdisciplinary team of clinical, experimental, and computational researchers working in translational multiple myeloma research. The postholder will contribute to projects aimed at understanding the biological mechanisms underlying disease progression and treatment response within the OTMC’s clinical-translational research infrastructure. The role will focus on the computational analysis and interpretation of multi-omics and clinical datasets to support research into multiple myeloma and related conditions. The postholder will apply and further develop bioinformatic and machine learning approaches to enable integrative analysis and biomarker discovery.
About you
You must hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD/DPhil in a discipline of direct relevant to computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field. You will have experience in multi-omics and AI/ML based data analysis and demonstrable understanding of biology relevant to cancer research. Additionally, you will have experience contributing to the development of scientific techniques in systems biology and/or computational genomics; familiarity with experimental workflows is desirable.
