The role
Join our Digital Change team and lead the delivery of high-quality, user-focused digital services across the university. You’ll define and implement test strategies, oversee assurance processes, and drive quality across complex systems and programmes.
This role offers the opportunity to shape testing practices and influence how critical systems are delivered and improved. You’ll lead and support analysts, manage stakeholders, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
We’re looking for strong leadership, strategic thinking, and proven experience in digital testing and quality assurance.
We offer a diverse range of benefits and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment.
You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined-benefit pension schemes in the country.
Each year you will earn a secure pension benefit of 1/49th of your salary and the University will pay pension contributions towards the cost of this pension (currently worth about 22% of your salary). For a starting salary of £40,000, for example, the University would pay just over £8,700 in the first year of your employment and you would earn a pension of £816 p.a. for that year (payable from your State Pension Age).
If you are, or have been, a recent member of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) directly prior to joining us, you can choose to opt out of the LGPS and remain in the USS. Please contact the Pensions team to discuss options available.
The University may be able to sponsor the employment of international applicants in this role; this will depend on a number of factors specific to the individual applicant.
We welcome applications for, part-time and flexible working arrangements.
