Student Services are recruiting a Specialist Study Skills Manager to lead and develop our specialist study skills provision for students with specific learning differences or autism.
The postholder will manage and support a team of Specialist Study Skills Tutors and Specialist Study Skills and Inclusive Practice Tutors, ensuring students access high quality specialist teaching through a blend of one-to-one support, group sessions, workshops and online delivery across the University.
You will play a leading role in developing inclusive approaches to curriculum design, teaching and learning, working collaboratively with academic colleagues and professional services to embed evidence informed inclusive practice. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will maintain a small caseload of students, supporting them to develop strategies that remove barriers to learning and promote academic progression.
