Full time – 35 hours per week.

Location - Usher Building, Biquarter, Edinburgh.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week), however, we will consider part-time or flexible working patterns (minimum of 17.5/ week).
We will also consider requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular (weekly) on-campus working. The Usher Institute expects a minimum of 40% on campus working.
The Centre for Population Health Sciences at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for talented researchers from cohorts 1 and 2 of the ACRC Academy who plan to develop an external fellowship application.
The opportunity:
We are looking for candidates from the ACRC Academy who have an emerging track record of innovative research and/or translation, and the potential to make a contribution to furthering the ACRC’s strategic goals by developing at least one fellowship application focusing on care in later life, multimorbidity, healthy ageing, or a closely related field. Applications are welcome from ACRC Academy PhD students from across the full range of disciplines in the ACRC. We particularly welcome applicants who wish to continue to use their leadership skills in working across disciplinary boundaries to research advanced care and its associated societal challenges.
