We are looking for a researcher with a strong track record in synthesising and communicating interdisciplinary research to join the new Centre for Educational Neuroscience. The Centre brings together experts from neuroscience, psychology, learning sciences, AI, genomics and education across leading institutions - including UCL, Birkbeck, University of Surrey, Aston University, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of East Anglia, University of Bristol and University of East London. The new policy focused unit will include five research fellows and there will be frequent meetings with all members, thus gaining from strong opportunities for multidisciplinary career progression and impactful research.
You will be responsible for overseeing all dissemination activities (including organising the participation in science festivals, vlogs, blogs, podcasts), write dissemination plans, coordinate drafts of the public reports and will prepare publication‑ready versions of all reports. The Policy and Dissemination Officer will be a 2-year part-time post.
You will have a PhD or MA (or near completion) in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. You will also have experience in research dissemination, knowledge exchange, or research impact, and strong understanding of how research evidence can be communicated effectively to policy, practice, and public audiences.
