An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate join the School of Environmental Sciences to conduct studies on quantifying fossil fuel CO2 using atmospheric measurements.
As a Research Associate you will contribute to the EU-funded PARIS project ("Process Attribution of Regional Emissions") by analysing and interpreting data, writing up the results and presenting information on research progress and outcomes.
You will have a graduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience and be able to work in a proactive and results driven manner in a high paced environment. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team. Advanced skills directly relating to this research area and previous research experience would be advantageous.
This full-time post is available from August 2026 on a fixed term basis for 5 months.
