The Administrative Assistant is expected to provide high quality administrative support on a range of general administration tasks and projects to support the College and its community.  Working to assist the Operations Project Manager and team of Executive Assistants (EAs) primarily within the Bursary, Operations and Master’s office, as well as the Head of Conference & Accommodation and some other functional line managers, this varied role provides the opportunity for the postholder to engage with individuals across our community on a range of exciting initiatives.  

This post would suit someone who:

  • Evidence of delivering a first-class administrative experience, including excellent drafting correspondence, proof-reading, record-keeping and ability to manage electronic documents.
  • Is a good communicator, with a helpful and friendly approach
  • Has excellent organisational skills, prioritisation and planning of work to meet deadlines

Working arrangements and salary

This is a permanent appointment (subject to a 3-month probation period). 

Competitive salary range of FTE £27,000 - £29,000 pa, depending on skills and experience.

This role is on a 6 month fixed term contract. Hours of work are 20 – 25 hours per week (4-5 hours each day), ideally to be worked across 5 days in College.
