  • Monitoring student engagement and identifying those at risk of underachievement
  • Collaborating with academic teams to support inclusive teaching and learning approaches
  • Delivering workshops and contributing to learning support resources and materials
  • Maintaining accurate records of support plans, interventions, and student progress
  • Signposting students to internal services and external support where needed
  • Supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of learning support provision

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Experience delivering learning or academic support within a higher education or similar setting

  • Experience supporting diverse learners, including those with additional learning needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage caseloads effectively
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A supportive, approachable, and student-focused attitude

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting neurodiverse learners or implementing reasonable adjustments
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices or Universal Design for Learning
  • Experience in higher education or creative education environments
  • Interest in music or the creative industries

Why join WaterBear?

  • Be part of an innovative, fast-growing music college
  • Work with passionate students and industry-connected professionals
  • Enjoy a supportive culture focused on wellbeing and work-life balance
  • Access ongoing professional development, coaching, and training
  • Help shape the future of higher education in music
