About the role
A 3-year fixed-term teaching and research appointment in English literature, with a core focus on the early modern period, is available for an outstanding academic at an early stage of their career. The appointee will be expected to provide undergraduate and graduate teaching on a range of topics in English language and literature for the English Faculty and Hertford College.
Please note this post is different to the grade 7 post of the same name (vacancy: 186522) and has a higher level of responsibility.
About you
You will hold (or be near completion) of a Doctorate level degree in English literature or a related field as well as a proven research and publication record in English literature or a related field. Evidence of ability to teach to undergraduate students at the highest level, in classes and tutorials, as well as sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop independent research projects.
