Birkbeck, University of London, has an excellent opportunity for an Associate Tutor to join the teaching team on the Certificate of Higher Education, BSc Foundation Year and BA Programmes, and support the School of Psychological Sciences this Autumn 2026.
Your role will be to support teaching, in order to enable students to complete their studies successfully and undertake related course administrative duties as required. Your main responsibility will be preparation and assisting with the studying skills focused seminar, teaching, and providing feedback on formative assessment on the Psychology Study Skills module.

Remuneration
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of service (starting rate £61.39 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 6 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ at x2.5, which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
