We are seeking a highly organised Executive Assistant to to provide dedicated support to the Director, ensuring the smooth and effective management of priorities and procedures, schedules, and workflows.
In this pivotal role, the post holder will implement, manage, and continuously improve administrative procedures and systems, helping to maximise efficiency across the Director's office, as well as bring substantial EA secretarial, and senior administrative experience, along with a proven ability to develop and enhance processes that support effective decision-making and operations.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to professionally deliver all activities, including sensitive matters with integrity, discretion and discernment,while balancing the ability to work independently with a collaborative, team-focused mindset

You will be based at the Fitzwilliam Museum, which is the principal museum of the University of Cambridge and the largest cultural venue in the region. Founded in 1816, the museum welcomes around 500,000 visitors a year and houses over half a million works of art and material culture spanning from 10,000BCE to the present day, principally from Europe, North Africa and Asia.
