About the role
Make a difference to the student experience
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Programme Officer (CPD) to join our CPD Programme Operations team on a 12‑month fixed‑term, part-time basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of our continuing professional development (CPD) courses, helping to ensure a high‑quality experience for students, employers and academic colleagues.
As a Programme Officer (CPD), you will provide day‑to‑day operational and administrative support across a portfolio of courses mostly delivered to NHS staff continuing their professional development. You will respond to a wide range of student, employer and staff queries, manage course‑related processes in line with university regulations, and work closely with colleagues across Academic Services and the wider University.
You will need to be confident handling sensitive information, prioritising competing demands, and communicating professionally and empathetically with a diverse range of stakeholders.

This role is part‑time (0.7 FTE, 26 hours per week). and offered on a fixed‑term basis for 12 months, with some flexibility required to support peak activity periods.
