We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Senior Lecturer/Honorary Consultant in Special Care Dentistry at our Glasgow Dental Hospital and School which is the major dental referral and teaching centre in the West of Scotland based in the heart of the city centre of Glasgow. It benefits from comprehensive modern facilities for patient care, student training, and for education and research into dental and oral diseases and disorders. We provide staff with excellent opportunities to develop their clinical teaching skills.
You will play a significant role in the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and assessment in Special Care Dentistry. You will work collaboratively as part of a large team to develop and deliver on areas of dental education that require a multidisciplinary approach. You will be expected to participate fully in management and administration of the Dental School, including contributing to agenda setting and supporting the development of strategic priorities at a senior level. The primary focus of the role is Learning & Teaching.
In addition, you will be expected to perform the duties of an Honorary Consultant in Special Care Dentistry.
