The Role
As a Placement and Internships Lead (Maternity Cover), you will work as part of a dedicated student facing team to improve graduate outcomes by delivering activities and providing support to enhance the career development of Roehampton students and graduates.
We have an ambitious strategy to ensure that an increasing number of students have access to placements or work-based learning opportunities. All undergraduate programmes now have the option of an integrated placement year with many postgraduate programmes also offering placement options.
Key elements of this role include building our reputation with employers, developing strong networks to enable this and actively source placement opportunities exclusively for our students. This will include consulting with employers to ensure roles are fit for purpose, are effectively advertised and suitable students are shortlisted for opportunities.
The appointment is offered on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months as maternity cover subject to references.
It is expected that the candidate can start w/c 7th September 2026, with a year-long contract ending in September 2027.
