Postdoctoral Research Associate in Plasma Catalysis (Part Time) – Grade 7

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our dynamic research team in the interdisciplinary field of plasma catalysis. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering research on plasma-based Power-to-X technologies for the sustainable production of fuels and chemicals. You will be involved in the design, development, and optimisation of plasma-catalytic reactors and integrated processes, as well as the synthesis and characterisation of catalytic materials. The role will focus on reactor engineering, process intensification, and system integration, while developing a deeper understanding of plasma-catalytic processes. You will work closely with internal team members and external partners and contribute to knowledge exchange and dissemination activities through presentations, workshops, and outreach initiatives.

This post is fixed term for up to 12 months.

If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30.  Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
