We are looking for a Tutor for Outreach and Recruitment who will help us find, inspire and support the next generation of academically ambitious students. This is a role for someone who combines strategic thinking with a genuine passion for widening participation, and who is excited by the prospect of influencing who sees Cambridge and our College as a place where they belong.
Working closely with the Senior Tutor, Directors of Admissions and Access & Student Recruitment team, you will use data, insight and experience to identify where the College can have the greatest impact. You'll develop initiatives that encourage applications from talented students from all backgrounds, build strong relationships with schools and colleges, and represent the College at events across the UK.
You'll bring people together, working collaboratively with academic and professional colleagues to deliver a coherent approach to outreach and admissions. Alongside leading strategy, you'll provide support and direction to the ASR Manager, oversee budgets and resources, evaluate impact, and ensure that our programmes continue to evolve and deliver results.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Oxford or Cambridge admissions environment, who can translate ideas into action and communicate with confidence and credibility. You'll be equally comfortable analysing recruitment data, presenting to teachers and students, influencing stakeholders, and championing widening participation at every level. Above all, you'll be motivated by a belief that academic potential exists everywhere and that opportunity should too.
To apply, please submit your CV and cover letter to hr@murrayedwards.cam.ac.uk. Please note, we are running a rolling recruiting process and will be assessing applications as they come through. The role will close when we have a successful applicant.
