An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing & Website Assistant to join the Website & Portal Team in the Admissions, Recruitment & Marketing (ARM) division.

We’re seeking a proactive team player to champion best practice, lead on day-to-day website edits and support a variety of digital projects. You’ll play a key part in shaping and enhancing UEA’s online presence and help to deliver exceptional user-centred experiences. Working with stakeholders across the institution, you’ll build strong relationships and deliver digital solutions which truly make a difference.

Key duties of the role include:

  • Manage and maintain the UEA website and portal, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with organisational standards
  • Respond to and resolve incoming service desk requests, prioritising tasks effectively to meet agreed deadlines
  • Deliver routine content updates and structured changes in line with established processes and governance
  • Support the delivery of proactive website improvements and enhancement projects
  • Review, create, edit and publish web content across key areas of the site using the CMS
  • Ensure all content meets best practice for accessibility, usability and SEO
  • Support wider digital initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of web services
  • Work in an agile environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines, while identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement

 You will have:

  • Experience of working in a digital marketing role 
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to present complex issues in a focused, succinct, professional and persuasive manner
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team 

Experience of marketing within the Higher Education sector would be advantageous.

This full-time post is available from 17 August 2026 on an indefinite basis.
