Location: Weston Library, Broad Street, Oxford OX1 3BG. This role supports working from home for up to two days per week.

About the role

The Centre for Digital Scholarship is seeking a Digital Scholarship Associate to support the Towards Digital Collections project. You will develop and deliver national training for the UK Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) sector, creating engaging learning resources and organising events that promote digital collections and digital scholarship.

Working closely with colleagues across the Bodleian Libraries and external partners, you will coordinate training activities, build relationships with stakeholders, evaluate programme impact and contribute to research outputs. Some travel across the UK will be required to support events.

This is a fixed-term post for 25 months, working part-time for 30 hours per week. This role supports working from home for up to two days per week.

About You

You will have a degree, or equivalent professional experience, in a relevant field together with specialist knowledge of digital cultural heritage collections. You will have experience of developing and delivering events, training or engagement programmes, ideally within higher education, the cultural heritage sector or a similar environment.

You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently. You will enjoy building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and be confident representing the Centre at meetings and events. Experience of research, content creation or evaluating learning programmes would be advantageous.
