The Oxford Internet Institute (OII) is a multidisciplinary research and teaching department of the University of Oxford, dedicated to understanding the relationship between emerging technologies and society.

We are looking to recruit a permanent, part-time Administrative Assistant to work on site at the Schwarzmann Centre, 2 fixed days per week on Thursdays and Fridays (0.40 FTE).

This role forms part of a shared administrative provision, working closely with a colleague in a parallel post who works Monday to Wednesday. The two roles cover a largely aligned portfolio of duties and play a key role within the Governance and Resource team. The role will provide administrative support across a wide range of areas within the department, including finance, facilities, health and safety and events support and work closely with teams leads within the administration and with colleagues across the department to provide this support. 

This role will suit an individual who enjoys being part of a busy collaborative office and working in an environment of changing priorities.
